|Minimum Age||Must be 18 years of age on race day|
|Cut-off time||Due to course management and road closure restrictions there is a cut-off point at 6km into the race and participants should have passed this point by 8:45am, there is also a cut-off point at 26.5k into the race and participants should have passed this point by 12:28pm. The course will officially be closed at 3:20pm. Total cut Off time 8 hours from your individual start time.|
|Timing Results||Timing results will be provided by age group category for both runners and walkers, and will be based on participant's mat time. The Marathon age group categories are as follows for men and women; 18-19 years, 20-29 years, 30-39 years, 40-49 years, 50-59 years, 60-69 years, 70 -79 years, 80+years|
|Prizes||All Marathon finishers will receive a Finisher Medal. Non-monetary prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd placing in each age group category for Men and Women, and will be based on participant’s mat time.|

Undulating course, easy running. The course offers a unique mix of running terrain, with a combination of running on-road, bike paths and through vineyards.
The Marathon course takes in the most picturesque locations within the Barossa Valley region including the start line surrounded by vineyards, the iconic streets lined with palm trees in Seppetsfield, the Chateau Yaldara, the Para river crossing and the stunning Barossa Valley Finish Line. This course will take athletes on a memorable journey throughout the entire region showcasing some of the best locations the Barossa can offer.
